Correspondence, forty-two manuscript diaries, photographs, autobiographical materials, and other small items documenting McMillan's missionary work in Japan before and after WWII. The diaries date from 19 to 19 and contain details about McMillan's life and work, as well as Japanese social life and customs. The diaries and other materials also illustrate her commitment to the pacifist movement. A few items pertain to the life and work of fellow pacifist Kenneth Boulding.
